Head to Crown Center this Saturday for a celebration of creativity and artistic talent. Around 100 Hallmark artists, photographers, sculptors and designers will fill the square to display and offer their work for sale. Wander through a wide variety of watercolor paintings, sculpture, textiles, jewelry, photography and more creative work. This is the artists’ personal work, outside of their jobs with Hallmark. Purchases may be made by cash or check only, directly to the artist.

Waldo’s Fall Festival

Also going on all day Saturday is the 25th Annual Waldo Fall Festival, at the corner of 75th and Wornall Rd., in the heart of Kansas City. This free event is a family-friendly, neighborhood festival that includes activities for all ages, such as kids rides, games, and face painting, plus food trucks, local music, and a host of vendors to meet and mingle with throughout the day. The festival is located in the CVS parking lot at 75th Street and Wornall Road.

Uncorked KC

Uncorked is back in Kansas City at Union Station this Saturday afternoon and evening with a 90+ point wine festival. Enjoy over 100 wines from across the globe with ratings of 90 points or higher along with food trucks, live music and more! This special event will include two sessions. The first session has a VIP admission at 1 p.m. with general admission at 2 p.m., and will end at 5 p.m. The second session is all general admission from 6 – 9 p.m. Both tickets include all wine tastings, with food from the trucks sold separately. Cocktail attire is requested but not required.

Riverside Music Fest

Riverside Music Fest is an annual music festival hosted by Riverside Area Chamber of Commerce, held in September at beautiful E.H. Young Riverfront Park, along the Missouri Riverfront. Running throughout the afternoon and evening this Saturday, the festival will include local food trucks, a beer garden, music from local bands and a national headliner. There aren’t any seats, so feel free to bring chairs and picnic blankets. Visit the website for the whole lineup and to purchase tickets.
